I started hunter jumper lessons at age 8. I assisted with the colt start of my first horse at age 13. Purchased my own project horse around age 15 and sold him two years later. I competed locally in the hunter jumper rings as a junior rider. I relocated to Jupiter, Florida in 2004 to pursue my dream to be a jockey. Galloped some thoroughbreds professionally for awhile. Landed a great barn manager job at a new natural horsemanship facility. I managed and worked at and rode for several facilities in the area during this time also. It was around this time that I learned many natural horsemanship training techniques and skills that would set me up for the rest of my life! 

I‘m a natural problem solver. Figuring out what a horse needs, comes very natural to me. I find the short comings, identify them and offer a suiting solution. I love colt starts and restarts for this reason. I believe installing a solid foundation on a horse (or long ear!) is not only being extremely proactive, it’s setting the horse up to succeed in life! And that’s what it’s all about. The horse. 

Quality horsemanship is most important. The horse always comes first. A happy & healthy equine makes for a happy owner. Not all horses have the same requirements and needs, but as horsemen, it’s our job to identify and meet those needs individually.

After managing several barns, in a variety of disciplines I’ve become well accustomed to the needs and wants of a happy & healthy horse. Having developed and ran afew of my own boarding and training farms in south Florida has heavily improved my experience and knowledge today. I am steadily building towards my own training and boarding farm.
